In order to obtain a visa to Papua New Guinea please provide the following:

Tourist Visa

1. U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity.
2. 1 Visa Application Form.
3. 1 Passport-type photograph required
4. Copy of round trip airline tickets

Business Visa

1. U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity.
2. 1 Visa Application Form.
3. 1 Passport-type photograph required.
4. Copy of round trip airline tickets.
5. Brief report on PNG-based company or on-going business in PNG.
6. Recent Annual Report of parent company.
7. Complete bio-data (resume) of the applicant.
8. A business letter of responsibility to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to the Embassy of Papua New Guinea, Visa Section, Washington D.C. The Letter must explain all of the following:
   Purpose of trip
   Business reference to be visited
   Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant, and return transportation.

Tourist Visa: $65
Business Visa Single Entry: $297
Business Visa Multiple Entries: $297

Return mail: please include a self-addressed pre-paid envelope or $18 for FedEx delivery.

Notes:

• The PNG tourist visa is usually valid for a single entry within six months from issue date, for stay of maximum two months.
• The business visa is usually issued for a single entry, valid for six months from date of issue, for a stay of three weeks.
• Multiple entry business visa is usually valid for one year from issue date, for a stay of up to 8 weeks.
• Travel for religious or volunteer work requires approval from the Immigration Department in Port Moresby; your sponsoring organization in PNG must obtain this approval for you (allow up to 4 months).
